Interview with a love lost person
Love is not for certain people.
It starts with that pure fun and compatibility, u realize that ur love is pure. Even distance doesn’t spoil the spirit of your love. And then slowly it starts dissipating. First you actually don’t come to realize its happening, because you feel the same all the time. How do you know its not the same the other side?
The mails disappear. The smss become sparse, replied only to ur replies and calls even more rare. U call up and extract the promise for the next call. And then there is nothing to talk on the phone. That natural exuberance and flow of speech on the phone is missing, and conversation seems forced. U realize something is wrong. U ask and are given assurance that love is still strong; its just a rough patch. And then one day u realize that ur love has become a burden, something being carried out because a commitment had been given long back. Its pureness is gone and with it the promise that I will be there no matter what.
U feel suffocated and u give freedom to ur love by taking off the commitments, by saying I know we can never be together. And in response you get a thanks, an affirmation of your understanding and belief that it was indeed a burden. And you are left alone, with a blow to you self and dignity, with nothing but memories.
